flourless chocolate cake recipe with you.
The recipe I’m about to share is healthy, pretty simple to
make and tastes pretty awesome to me. Glad I nailed it on the
first try!
Chocolate Swirl Cake
Here Are the Tools and Ingredients Required
for This Easy Flourless Chocolate Cake!
You’ll need a food processor, an 8-inch flan dish, and a
skewer to create the swirling pattern (close up photo
below).

For the base ingredients, you’ll need the following:
Cacao powder about ¼ cup, half a cup
of dates and you need to have them soaked
overnight, half a cup of fine desiccated
coconut and finally, half a cup of
almonds. So in a nutshell, 4 ingredients are
required to create the base.
How to Make Flourless Chocolate Cake (The
Two Stage Process)
Stage One: Creating the Base of the
Cake
First, I’m going to teach you how to make the base of this
flourless cake.
Step 1: Put the almonds in
your food processor and grind them until finely ground – that
is if you like the base to be fine and smooth. If you prefer a
crunchier base, feel free to process the almonds
accordingly.
Step 2: Throw in dates and
cacao into the processor, and blend until the mixture combines
well.
Step 3: Set your flan dish on
the table and have the base lined with the mixture from the
food processor.
Step 4: Store mixture in flan
dish in the refrigerator. Next, we’re going to do the
filling!
Stage Two: Creating the Tasty
Filling!
Now, for the filing, we’ll need 6 ingredients:
Plain water ¼ cup, lemon
juice about 1/8 cup, a teaspoon of
vanilla, 2 cups of cashew
nuts, ¼ cup of agave and ¼ cup
of raw chocolate mix.
Before we go any further, let me explain how to make the raw
chocolate recipe mix. Don’t worry; it’s a piece of cake!
Ingredients for raw chocolate mixture
Half a cup of cacao powder, ¼ cup of coconut oil, ¼ cup of
agave, and ¼ cup of cacao butter.

Raw cacao butter
Here’s How We Make the Raw Chocolate Recipe
Mix
Place the cacao butter in a container or a basin, and melt
it with warm water. Add agave and cacao powder and mix
thoroughly. Sweetness can be adjusted according to your
preference. If you want the chocolate mix to be sweeter, add
more agave. Now, store mixture in the refrigerator to set and
you’re done!
So we’ve done the cocoa mix, now it’s time to complete this
flourless chocolate cake recipe by creating the tasty filling,
which will then be added to the base mixture that we have
stored in the fridge earlier.
How to Make the Filling in 7 Easy Steps
Step 1: First set aside, the
chocolate mixture and coconut oil.
Step 2: Now, take the
remaining ingredients and put them into the food processor.
Process until the whole mixture becomes smooth. Remember to
stop and scrape down the sides from time to time.
Ste 3: Put in the coconut oil
into the mixture and process yet again. Make sure everything is
well combined.
Step 4: Take out the lined
flan dish from the fridge, set it on the table, and then pour
mixture into the dish.
Step 5: Use a skewer to
drizzle raw chocolate mixture over filling. Drizzle thoroughly
and make sure to proceed with caution because you don’t want to
end up messing the cake filling by drizzling in an inconsistent
fashion! Do it nice and slow to get the following look.

Drizzle nice and slow :)
Step 6: Once, you’ve
completed the drizzling effect, simply store the cake in the
refrigerator to set it. Leave it in the fridge overnight.
Step 7: Take out the cake out
from the fridge, slice and enjoy!

There are a few more flourless chocolate cake recipes
included in the “Chocolate Recipe Guilt-Free “digital
cookbook set. The recipe I just shared with you is one
of the simpler ones. I have a photo here of another healthy
and flourless chocolate cake recipe that looks and tastes
absolutely smashing!
This one is called “Coconut Cream Chocolate Gateau”.

The process of making it is slightly more complex than the
swirl chocolate cake, but if you follow the step-by-step
instructions in the book, you’ll be alright I’m sure. It’s
relatively easy to be honest, just a few additional steps and
of course, ingredients, are required to make this
mouth-watering cake.
